So I have had my Bike Burrito for a few weeks now, actually a couple months is closer to being correct. Basically what I am doing with it is using it to organize the tools in my backpack that I carry to work.

It is nice to have everything stored in one place. I know where to go when I have a problem, like last week. I finally got a flat on my way home from work. I was able to reach down in my pack and pull out all my tools and tube. No more fishing through all of my clothes, lunch contianers and vrious other things in my back pack.

A cool thing thing hat i had not mentioned yet is that when it arrived it ws wrapped up in foil like a burrito. I took some pictures of it before unwrappin. Overall I am very happy with it and would recommend it. I give it 4 stars.

I have been using the Shimano Alfine group for the past year. I was really excited to get my hands on this group as it was exactly what i had been looking for to build up my ultimate commuter bike. Continue reading for the basics and my thoughts.

Here are some of the basics on the group.

8 Speed Internal Geared Read Wheel
Generator Front Wheel
Disc Brakes

Over the past year I have ridden about 2500 miles on this bike and they have been pretty worry free. I would definitely recommend the group to any looking to build up a commuter bike.
