Nice blog, I appreciate the attitude you got. I was wondering if, in your opinion, riding fixed-gear in Seattle is unwise?   I read that you have a geared bike, which sounds more useful in a place like Seattle.  I am a Chicago fixed-gear biker planning on moving to Seattle in the coming months, and worried that I might be bring over a ride unnecessary/ill-equipped for someplace not devastatingly flat.  Thanks for your time, and enjoy the ride.
